Alot of people worry about opening a bank account due to to their imperfect credit history. Who could blame them? After all, banks are famous for making it hard for people with less than perfect credit history to even open an account with them.
But if you really need a bank account, all is not lost! In fact, banks offer what we call these “Basic Bank Accounts” as an alternative.
Basic bank accounts are those given to bank clients who have a bad credit history but would still like to apply for a bank account. Often times, these bank accounts are used to accept salaries or arrange auto-debit payments. Basic bank accounts are accompanied by ATM cards for withdrawing money
There are also some banks that offer the “Visa Electron” or “Solo” debit feature included in your ATM Card. This feature allows you to make purchases in thousands of merchant shops, through the phone or via the internet. What makes it better is that you don’t acquire credit so you don’t have to worry about paying for debt in the long run.
